Itinerary

Arrive in Iguazu. Transfer to hotel.

Full day guided tour of the Argentine side of the Falls.
Visit Devil’s Throat, the most impressive waterfall where
a catwalk rising 1100 metres from the Iguazu River will
lead you to the magnificent views of the largest and
most striking waterfall where you will feel all the power
and magic of that unforgettable destination.

Half day Brazilian falls tour.

Fly to Salvador for a walking tour culminating in the
historical centre of Pelourinho, the largest assemblage
of colonial buildings in Latin America and a UNESCO
World Heritage site. Stroll the colonial district’s cobbled
stone streets, flanked by houses in pastel shades and
visit the exuberant São Francisco Church, the most
ornate Baroque church in Brazil.

Head to the tranquil fishing village of Praia do Forte,
home to some of Bahia’s best beaches. Visit the ruins of
the imposing Garcia D’Ávila castle (1556), once home
to the largest landowner in the New World. Visit the
TAMAR Project, dedicated to sea turtle preservation.

Fly to Rio and transfer to your hotel. There is no
other place in Rio that embodies the happiness
of the Brazilian people more than Lapa’s nightlife
scene. Once the sun goes down this normally quiet
neighbourhood turns into a bustling and vibrant area
full of restaurants, nightclubs and bars. The streets fill
with cariocas and gringos alike, who flock to this Rio
nightlife Mecca with one thing in mind…fun!! Head
right to the heart of the action where your local guides will accompany you to Rio Scenarium – an unusual
bar which is a mix between an antique shop and an
auction room – where the locals come to listen to
traditional Brazilian jazz and samba. (B)

A fun day starts with pick up in an open jeep, where
you will be taken to the stunning Tijuca Atlantic
Forest, the largest urban forest in the world, with
magnificent views of Ipanema and Copacabana
beaches. Visit the Corcovado Mountain, home to
Christ the Redeemer statue – recently named one
of the 7 New Wonders of the World”. After lunch, the
tour continues up to the Sugar Loaf Mountain, which
has become an iconic symbol of the city of Rio de
Janeiro.

Half day Carnival behind the scenes – Watch real
floats up close and see Carnival costumes from the
past Carnival or being prepared for the next one,
while learning about unique percussion instruments
that hammer out that irresistible samba beat. (B)

Transfer to the airport with English speaking
driver. (B)
