Itinerary

Welcome at Mumbai Airport and transfer to
your hotel. Free time to explore this historic city.

The morning is at leisure. Afternoon city
tour including the Gateway of India, Victoria
Terminus, Prince of Wales Museum and Gandhi
Museum. (B)

Fly to the romantic lake-studded city
of Udaipur. Later enjoy a boat cruise on Lake
Pichola. (B)

Morning tour of Udaipur. Visit the City
palace, Jaqdish Temple and the gardens of
Saheliyon-Ki-Bari. Afternoon at leisure. (B)

Drive to Jodhpur, visiting the exquisite Jain
Temples at Ranakpur enroute. (B)

Visit the towering Meherangarh Fort, with
its many grand halls and reception rooms. Later,
there’s time to explore the bazaar. (B)

Drive to the pink city of Jaipur, home of the
Rajputs, and capital of Rajasthan. The evening is
at leisure to explore. (B)

Visit Amber Fort in the morning and later
see the superb City Palace complex, Jantar
Mantar Observatory and the Hawa Mahal (Palace
of Winds). You also visit a gem and carpet
weaving factory, and explore the bazaar. (B)

Drive east to Akbar’s deserted capital, at
Fatehpur Sikri. Continue to Agra for the night. (B)

The Taj Mahal is at its best in the
morning light. Enjoy a comprehensive tour of this
celebrated monument and later visit the beautiful
Agra Fort. (B)

Take the morning express train to Jhansi
and then drive to Orchha, a medieval riverside
town noted for its palaces and temples. Continue
to Khajuraho for the night. (B)

Visit the famous temples, built by the
Chandela kings between 950 and 1050AD. Later,
fly to Varanasi and enjoy an evening rickshaw ride
to the ghats, witnessing the Aarti ceremony at
Dasaswamedh Ghat. (B)

Enjoy an early morning boatride on
the Ganges followed by a guided walk through
the old quarter. Later visit Bharat Mata (Mother
Temple) before a visit to nearby Sarnath, where
Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. (B)

Fly to Delhi, where the afternoon is at
leisure. (B)

Discover Old and New Delhi today, with
visits to the Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Qutb
Minar and Gurudwara Bangla Sahib – the largest
Sikh Temple in Delhi. You’ll also see the India
Gate, Parliament Buildings and the President’s
House.

Transfer to the airport for your onward flight. (B)
