Itinerary

Arrive into Reykjavik and take the Flybus to
your hotel. The afternoon & evening is yours to
explore the city. We recommend a visit to the
new Aurora Reykjavik Museum.

Reykjavik is an easy city to explore on foot or
bike. Feel the fresh air on your face with a visit
the harbour and perhaps enjoy a food tour.

Pick up your hire car at 9.00am and drive the
Golden Circle: erupting hot springs at Geysir,
Gullfoss waterfalls and Þingvellir National
Park. The Gullfoss two-tiered waterfalls are
spectacular. Explore UNESCO Þingvellir
National Park where you can become better
acquainted with Iceland’s history and traditions.

Snorkelling in Silfra is one of Iceland’s bestkept
secrets. Iceland straddles the rift between
the Eurasian and North American continental
plates and you can see the rift for yourself on
this snorkelling trip. You then get to float on the
lake’s surface, peering into the depths through
pristine water that takes twenty years to filter
down from a glacier through volcanic ash.

Spend two days exploring Iceland’s South
Coast viewing the magnificent waterfalls
Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss along the way.
Visit the interesting folk museum at Skógar.
Walk along the stunning black volcanic beach
by Cape Dyrhólaey. Head off on a 4×4 Driver
Guided Super Jeep Tour to Þórsmörk Valley &
Hiking Tour in the Foothills of Eyjafjallajökull &
Fimmvörðuháls Volcanoes. Continuing onwards
our destination is the Básar cabin where we
will start our 6-8 hour hike up and down the
Fimmvörðuháls volcanoes. During the hike you
will not only be able to touch the new lava, see
the brand new craters, mountains and the now
cooling lava falls but also enjoy vast sweeping
views of one of the most beautiful highland
nature in all of Iceland.

Today is a relaxing drive along Southeast
Iceland Ring Road. Enjoy nature’s bounty
of outdoor activities, or relax on the hotel’s
sundeck and reflect on the history of this
location. The village of Kirkjubaejarklaustur
boasts a number of natural and historical sites.
You can also enjoy a swim in the neighbouring
geothermal pool or a round of golf only 5 km
away.

Two incredible adventures today: Svínafellsjökull
Ice Climbing in Skaftafell National Park & then a
Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon Zodiac Adventure
Tour where you will be shown the secrets and
wonders of the lagoon. Svínafellsjökull is a
breathtaking outlet glacier of the Vatnajökull
glacier and the scenery and views are simply
stunning. Explore mesmerizing Icelandic
wonders on Svínafellsjökull Glacier on this
4-hour vertical Iceland expedition.Suitable for all
levels as the level of challenge is adaptable.

Today, head off on a Super jeep tour from
the main road up to Jöklasel so you can
snowmobile on the great glacier. Driving your
own snow mobile for one hour across this
glacier is certainly one of the highlights. After
your adventure, head to the charming seaside
guesthouse & cottages. Have a wander on the
beach or book a hot tub before dinner.

After a leisurely start, head north to Lake
Mývatn’s eastern shore. You have two days
to explore the otherworldly Lake Mývatn area,
a hotbed of volcanic landscapes such as the Námaskarð Pass, the Skútustaðagígar pseudocraters,
the Dimmuborgir lava formations and
Mt. Krafla, one of Iceland’s most interesting
volcanoes. End the day at Mývatn Nature
Baths (optional) in a pool of geothermal water
drawn from depths of up to 2,500 metres, a
great way to relax after sightseeing and enjoy
the midnight sun.

After breakfast, head towards Reykjavik and
drive to the Gauksmýri Lodge. During your
stay, you have an included countryside Horse
Riding tour (2 hours). This tour is ideal for
visitors who like horses and want to experience
the Icelandic countryside from a different point
of view.

This morning, make your way to the Blue
Lagoon for a relaxing experience and dinner.

Entrance to Blue Lagoon, Use of Bathrobe,
Use of Towel, Drink of your choice, Skin Care
Trial Pack, Algae Mask, Slippers, Reserved
