DAY 1. 20 AUG: SYDNEY TO ALBURY
Driving south from Sydney we’ll stop for morning tea in Jugiong. This hidden village is home to a superb and surprising cafe. Take a walk along the Murrumbidgee River in historic Gundagai, to see the spectacular latticework of the wooden bridges. Visit the surprising village of Holbrook to learn why there is a submarine parked here, 200km from the ocean. Arrive in Albury where we’ll get together for a welcome dinner. (You can meet us in Albury if you prefer)
