Take a Walk Around the World with our
From short hikes to full treks
Walking is a fantastic way to really experience a destination. Being on the ground connects you quite literally with the land and people, giving you a great insight not found with motorised transport.
Most of our journeys include walking elements and we encourage all travellers, where possible, to wander by foot in villages, cities and pathways. The Walking Journeys we have collected here take this a few steps further, and have large elements of hiking or trekking included.
The journeys here range from gentle day hikes suitable for most people, through to full trekking, climbing and
Most of these journeys are tailor made and can be adjusted to suit you, so please take them as suggestions and we can work together to tweak them according to your preferences. As well as individual journeys, we have partnered with GREAT WALKS to offer special walking journeys to some of the World’s most scenic areas. Our exclusive GREAT WALKS are specially designed for you and escorted by an experienced tour leader.
To encourage everyone to take the first step, we are giving all our Walking Journeys travellers a GREAT WALKS subscription, or an equivalent gear voucher from Trek & Travel. Whether you’re a casual walker, an intrepid hiker or a seasoned trekker we hope you will find a walk that appeals to you. If not, let us know and we will find one for you.
