The accommodation features beautiful views of the Beagle Channel and the pristine nature of the southern American continent. Itinerary

Today we will travel from Punta Arenas to Puerto Williams located on the Navarino Island. During the flight we will enjoy views of the area including the Strait of Magellan and the Darwin Mountain Range. Upon our arrival a transfer will be waiting to take for a delicious lunch. Afterwards, in the afternoon we will drive to the starting point of our trek in the Róbalo Valley.

Depending on weather conditions, we will either follow a path with panoramic views of Puerto Williams and the Beagle Channel or take a hike that will lead us to several lagoons, lakes and beaver dams. No matter what we choose, the journey will amaze us. Later that same day we will hike to the Del Salto Lagoon, where we will have dinner and spend the night. Overnight near Del Salto Lagoon.

After breakfast we will leave our campsite and start our adventure through rocky terrain to reach the slopes of the Dientes de Navarino Mountain Range. Along the way we will pass several lakes and enjoy views of the nearby islands, all of them part of the legendary Cape Horn Archipelago.

We will then proceed on a soft hike to reach the Martillo Lake, where we will call it a day and set up our camp. Overnight near Martillo Lake.

(8 Hrs. Trekking) (B, BL, D)

Our trekking today will take us through a beautiful valley boasting picturesque landscapes. On our way we will reach an altitude of 860 m (approximately) to be rewarded with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and part of Tierra del Fuego.

In the afternoon we will start descending to reach a forest where we will spend the night, on the shores of the Las Guanacas Lake. Overnight near Las Guanacas Lake.

(6 Hrs. Trekking) (B, BL, D)

In the morning we will leave our camp to start our trek through lush forests to reach a transfer that will take us back to Puerto Williams. Once at the accommodation we will have time for lunch and a few hours later we will explore the Omora Botanical Park: a protected area boasting 1,000 hectares. There we will be amazed by its landscapes including wetlands, evergreen forests, rivers, etc.

After this wonderful day we will return to our accommodation to enjoy a farewell dinner and to celebrate having completed the southernmost trekking circuit of the world. Overnight in Puerto Williams.

After breakfast a transfer will take us to the airport for our departure flight or to the local pier to continue with our travels to Ushuaia (Argentina). (B)

    • 3 nights accommodation in a tent based on double occupancy.

    • Breakfasts, lunches, dinners and food rations the trekking circuit.
    • Porters during the trekking, airport taxes and flights to and from Punta Arenas.

    LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY

    This program is suitable for passenger in good physical condition with a good level of training (not recommended for children under 12 years). Due to the fact that most of the time this trekking circuit takes place on land devoid of forest protection, the level of difficulty can increase in case of adverse weather conditions.

    SUGGETED OUTERWEAR

    Layered outerwear. Shoes / boots and trekking pants. Towel Hats, gloves, sunglasses. Sunscreen, backpack of 80 liters. Drinks bottle of water.

    Trekking will always be subject to weather conditions. There are no showers or bathroom services available during the circuit. We suggest to buy an activity insurance.
