Itinerary

Upon arrival in Ahmedabad you are met and transferred to your hotel.
Afternoon city tour including the the Siddhis Bashir mosque famous for its shaking minarets.

Drive to Dasada, visiting Modhera Sun Temple, built in 1026 AD, and Patan, with over 100 beautifully carved Jain temples. (B)

Morning and afternoon jeep safaris to visit the amazing birdwatchers paradise at Rann of Kutch. (B)

Drive to Sayla. En route visit Nal Sarovar Bird sanctuary where millions of birds including flamingos & great white pelicans are found. (B)

Drive to Sasangir, famous for beadwork & colourfully dressed Bharwad shepherds. (B)

Game drives at Sasan Gir, the last abode of the Asiatic lion with a thriving population of leopard and chousingha (the world’s only fourhorned antelope). (B)

Drive to Bhavnagar. (B)

Drive to Velavadar, visiting the 16C Palitana, totalling over 1000 Jain temples. If you’re feeling energetic you may wish to climb the 3500 steps of the Palitana temple. (B)

Game drives spotting Jackals and jungle cats. (B)

Drive to Ahmedabad, stopping at Lotahl, one of the most important sites of the Harappan civilisation. (B)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport. (B)
